Sharqi – photo exhibition in Nicosia

From Saturday 15th of January until Saturday 12th of March

Nicosia Municipal Arts Center (NiMAC) in cooperation with the Pierides fund, presents new exhibition program Contemporary Photographic Practices at NiMAC.

The program consists of presentation of work and research results of contemporary Cypriot and foreign photographers.

The first in the series of exhibitions – Sharqi – will present the works of Cypriot photographer Nicos Philippou.

Sharqi – Arabic for Sirocco  – is the photo exhibition and simultaneously is the book, which consists of 27 Polaroid photographs showing Cypriot landscapes, which were collected over 3 years.

Opening of the exhibition will take place on 15th of February at 20:00.

• Sunday – Monday: Closed.
