The 11th Rose Festival in Agros village

From Friday 12^th May to Sunday 21^st of May

A picturesque Agros village is well known to the residents of Cyprus for its unique architecture and great choice of traditional Cyprus products.

Visit the 11^th Rose Festival and the main events, which will be held in Glafkos Clerides Sports centre in Agros village.

Participate in local workshops and learn more about roses and the technology of products made from rose petals. Have a pleasant walk along the narrow streets and spend you weekend enjoying the folk dances and music.

The events of the festival will take place on Saturdays and Sundays. The opening of the festival is scheduled for 12^th of May at 19:00.

12^th of May

• 19:00 – Festival opening ceremony by Honourable Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Mr.Nicos Kouyialis
• 20:00 – 100 years of cultivating and processing of Rosa Damascena, blossoming in Agros: Cultural event dedicated to Rosa Damascena. Performance of the dance group of Agros’s Youth Club .

• 06:00 – Collecting of roses (For participation call on 99 645 575).

• 11:00 – Rose planting near the Primary School of Agros.
