Friday 17th of February at 19:00
The gallery of the famous artist George Kotsonis in Paphos will host the exhibition of B&W photos “NoGlamour” by 8 photographers – Iana Shraer, Ekaterina Bushevaya, Irina Barishnikova, Ekaterina Bosava-Gonzalez, Nina Koroleva, Ekaterina Sidorova, Oksana Oliferovskaya and Olga Ioannou.
Photography is associated with colors for a long time, however when the colors are removed, the world changes- it appears more deep, important and valuable. B&W photography creates an unusual spectrum of emotions- our consciousness sets free from the distractions and sees the true meanings.
“I frequently encounter the undervaluation of women as professionals. This is something subconscious- the society trust men more than women. It is important to tackle this problem now. This is why I will make every effor to support professional women” – said one of the organisers of the exhibition.
Free entrance.
