“Musical Mosaics” – concert of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra

Thursday 16^th and Friday 17^th of June at 20:30

The “Musical Mosaics” concerts will be held in Limassol and Nicosia.

The two soloists from Belarus and Scotland will play on santour and euphonium and together with the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra will perform the works of 7 composers form Armenia, Greece, Belarus, Italy, U.K. and USA.

Programme of the concert:

• R. Hovanesyan: Armenian Capricci no. 2 and 3;
• V. Tenidis: Three dances from Archipelago;
• Α. Baltas: Tonight at midnight;
• D. Smolsky: Prelude and Allegro for santouri and orchestra;
• Ο. Respighi: The Birds, P.154;
• P. Sparke: Summer isles for solo euphonium and strings;
• E. Picchi: Fantaisie οriginale for solo euphonium and orchestra.

• Jamie McVicar (euphonium).
