Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake

The Rialto theatre in Limassol will host the 3-D screening of the performance “Swan Lake” ballet in Matthew Bornes’ interpretation.

“Swan Lake” – is the most popular work of Matthew Borne. He first made it back in 1995 and over 20 years it was internationally acclaimed and awarded with over 30 international prizes.

This ballet presents totally different type of dancing. The swans are played by men and from the classical “Swan Lake” the choreographer only kept the music written by Tchaikovsky and retained names of certain characters. The performance feature elements of parody and is known for the British humour.
