Sunday, 30th April – Monday, 1st May
The first two-day festival for Greek and Slavic art ‘KipRus 2017’ will be held on the territory of the church of Saint Andrew the First-Called and All Russian Saints in Nicosia.
The festival program will include artistic performances by Greek, Cypriot, Russian and Belarus artists.
Guests of the festival will be invited to participate in the excursion around the church territory and visit the Alley of Saints, attend traditional craft’s workshops and art exhibition.
A special programme will be organized for children with jugglers, magicians and puppets entertaining guest all day long.
Guests will be invited to visit ethnographic pavilions to get familiar with the cultural traditions and national cuisine of festival participants.
Festival programme:
- April 30th, at 20:00 – Concert of “Terem Quartet” with the participation of the soloist of the Mariinsky Theater Vladimir Celebrovsky and Greek singer Pantelis Talassinos with ensemble.
- May 1st, performance by dancers and musicians after the Liturgy (07:00 – 11:00):
- “Terem Quartet” ensemble;
- Ksenia Stap, a soloist and laureate of international festivals;
- Vladimir Tselebrovsky, a soloist of the Mariinsky Theater;
- “Razgulyai” band;
- Ensemble of soloists of the Great Symphony Orchestra of the North-West;
- Famous Greek artists – Michalis Violaris, Costas Hadzhikhristodolou, Constantine, Michalis Hadjimihail, Vasiliki Hajiadamou;
- “Dionysos” dance group;
- Music bands, vocal and folk dance groups from Russia, Belarus, Cyprus and Greece.
- May 1st, at 22: 00 – fireworks at Metropolia square.
