Exploring the Museums – tour in Paphos

In order to underline the importance of museums as cultural centers in the modern society and in connection with the World Museum Day celebrations, the European Capital of Culture Pafos 2017 organization is organizing the excursion around city of Paphos, which will combine the archeological, ethnographical and Byzantium museums of Paphos as well as the Municipal Art Gallery..

The tour will be guided by Eleni Athanasiou, who is the archeology science and technology researcher in the Cyprus University research centre and archeology and archeology postgraduate in the University of Cyprus.

The excursion will start at the Paphos archeological museum and will finish at the ethnographical museum, where the concert of Ireneos Koulouras’ band will be held.
