Code Cyprus 2016

Code Cyprus – is the event which contributed to the promotion of practical computer programming among the high school students. If you are student in one of the high schools in Cyprus, then you can spend an amazingly interesting day with the team from UCLan Cyprus and become a participant in the high-tech contest!

Program of the day includes:

• Hour of Code – workshop for newbies in programming;
• Games Challenge – seminar for programming of games and databases, ideal for gaming enthusiast who already have some programming experience;
• Querying Data with SQL – 2-hour fun workshop for those, who are interested to try SQL programming;
  
• Robotics Challenge –  introductory workshop for the programming of the robots;
• Arduino – workshop for programming enables you to control hardware, such as led lamps, and power up electric motors!
• «Treasure Hunt»* – game which uses smartphones. To participate, it is necessary to install the Code Cyprus App on Android device and start the game. First 6 winners will get a prize – an Engino Inventor Kit.

*Please note that each person can participate in exactly one team and only once.

All workshops will be held at the same time, so participation in only one of them is possible.
