Christmas Wonderland in Limassol

The Limassol Old Port is getting ready for the most magical Christmas the town has ever known with an amazing Christmas Wonderland! Opening for the public on Friday 1^st December 2017 until Sunday 7^th January 2018.

The Carousel all lit up in the center of the square along with other rides will create a joyful ambience surrounded by a Christmas market with wooden stalls selling sweets, toys, handicrafts and of course hot chocolate and wine. Visitors will enjoy Christmas carols in different languages by children of our multicultural town, kids and adults will enjoy playing with real snow and sleigh rides on our large snow slide at the “North Pole Square”!  Candy and chocolate workshops, Christmas decorations workshops, Santa’s Grotto where kids can personally give their letter and have their photo taken with Santa, horse carriage rides with Santa and beloved cartoon characters, Cinderella’s carriage photo booth and many more surprises.

The program will be enriched with special happenings and many charity events within the social contribution of Cyprus Port Authorities:

• Santa Claus coming to town in his lit up boat, elves and toys will be waiting to escort him in the most fantastic parade to his Grotto.
• A real animal Nativity Grotto where kids can have their photo taken and feed the animals.
• A Santa’s workshop for collection of toys, wrapping and delivery to the less fortunate children of our town.
• Christmas sweets workshops to be donated to the families in need.
• The spirit and joy of Christmas will reach out to all children of our town by donating thousands of tokens to the disadvantaged.
• Charity organizations involved will be the Center for Preventive Paediatrics, Pasykaf, Funraising and more.
