Ballet “The Cinderella”

The Pattichio theatre in Limassol will host the performance by the Russian Ballet Theatre “The Cinderella”.

“The Cinderella” – is a beautiful story above love, happy faith and the victory of goodwill. The fairy tale which was written by Charles Pierrot was performed in various theaters under different names – “Glass slipper”, “Magic slipper” and finally “The Cinderella”.

For many year the charming spirit of the Cinderella fairy tale has occupied the imagination of directors and composers. The music, full of tenderness and charm, was written by Sergey Prokofiev immediately after the WWII and it has inspored choreographer Rostislav Zacharov to direct the ballet with the same name.
